Why choose in-home lessons

  • At home, on your own instrument

You learn on the same piano, guitar or drum kit you’ll practice on all week.

  • No traffic on your end

The teacher comes to you: no time lost commuting or waiting around.

  • Ideal for kids and families

Kids learn in a familiar setting, and parents can see how the lesson is going.

  • Vetted teachers

Every teacher goes through an assessment of their musicianship, teaching and profile before giving lessons.

Frequently asked questions

Which areas of Bogotá do the teachers cover?

We give in-home lessons in and around Bogotá. Coverage depends on the neighborhood and each teacher’s availability, so send us your approximate address and we’ll confirm.

Do I need to have the instrument at home?

For piano or drums, yes: the teacher can’t bring them. For guitar, violin or wind instruments, it’s also best to have your own so you can practice between lessons. If you don’t have one yet, we’ll help: see how to choose your first piano or keyboard or your first acoustic guitar.

Are lessons at home suitable for young children?

Yes. For the youngest, we recommend starting with early childhood music, a lesson built on play, rhythm and singing that works really well at home.

Can I combine lessons at home and online?

Yes. Many families alternate from week to week, for example when traveling or on rainy days. We explain this in hybrid lessons.

How much do lessons at home cost?

In-home lessons cost the same as online lessons. Each lesson lasts 90 minutes, and with the monthly plan of 4 classes, you pay less per lesson. See your rate on our pricing page.
